Dust Monitor Application Case
2022/03/10
PROJECT BACKGROUND

The customer is located in Huangshi, Hubei, mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic tiles. Due to the waste gas generated in the production process, the CEMS flue gas monitoring system needs to be installed. The customer contacted our company becuasue they need the particulate matter monitoring equipment for on-site upgrade and transformation. Our company quickly arranges the engineer of the CEMS flue gas project to connect and give a solution. After communicating with the customer, the cooperation was confirmed soon.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

Real-time continuous measurement of particulate matter concentration for continuous flue gas emission monitoring systems (CEMS).

PRODUCT APPLICATION

The instrument uses the laser backscattering test principle to complete the measurement of the dust concentration of the tested powder channel. After the incident light passes through the dust particles in the powder channel, the light intensity is weakened, and the dust particles reflect it in all directions. For this part of the scattered light within a certain range with the incident light, it is called backscattering, which signal strength varies positively with the dust particle concentration. According to this principle, the instrument passes through the powder channel through the embedded high-stability laser signal source, irradiates the dust particles, and the light receiver reflects the laser signal to calculate the dust concentration.

CUSTOMER EVALUATION

The instrument consists of three major parts: electrical system, optical system and structural system. In order to prevent the lens from being polluted by dust, a purging system is used to prevent the dust from eroding the lens by using continuous flow air to ensure that the light energy signal collected by the instrument is true and reliable.
